Is this a scam?
Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, or right site, but here goes.
In short I meet a nice girl, have spoken for about 3 weeks, her dad wants her to marry this rich guy, she wants me, her dad found out, they had a big fight, she left home and is in a hotel.
She told me just now in an email if she wants to come here to Australia she has to pay $2000 to leave Russia.
In short this is what she said.
quote: After a small pause has told to me, that then 2000 dollars will be necessary for passage of the Russian customs house for me.
Under the law of the Russian state citizens of Russia are obliged to give at customs house this paper confirming financial solvency to pass through the Russian customs house, for entry your country
Sorry if it is not the right place to ask, Im just wondering if this is real, or is she scamming me.

This is a scam right of the Russian women scam playbook.
I can guarantee 100% this is a scam. What ever you do, do not send her money. I have been working in Russian marriage service for over 15 years and seen this same scam a thousand times. Do not believe you are the exception. This $2000 is a lie, I have help over 10,000 women get visas, and not one was ever required to have money when they leave. Again this is the number one scam Russian women use, send me money so I can come. DON’T DO IT
There are so many good women in Russian, don’t waist you money on a scammer.
One question for you, have you met this woman in person?
Also please post her name and photo to the women scammers’ section

thought so
I thought as much she emails me with in 24hours of me emailing her and this time she didn't
I never thought I would be happy to have on going health problems and being long term unemployed, I would be lucky to come up with 20 bucks yet alone 2000.
Seemed odd, but then all the stuff about getting visa's seem to be about for America nothing on Australia.
Not to mention comes up with this story 24 hours after saying I love her.
I'm normally more cautious and can smell them a mile away but her rape story suckered me in, should have known no girl likes star wars and playing computer games.
No never meet her, should have known when she seemed so eager when in the second email to send me a photo copy of her passport, all I got was her address and lots of photos.
Also explains why she was the first one who didn't want to come to visit after a week of emailing.
I should have stuck with my lego star wars sets and playstation consoles, no disappointment there.
