My Russian girlfriend had a friend of the family help,
we started getting ready for her trip in Sept.
she got her tourist visa with no problem, she is a teacher and is here for research,
We split the expense of her ticket,
she paid for her visa.. We did all this with no help of idea that this stuff is a problem, there was no need for an agency, we met on loveaccess.com
We will spend Christmas and New Years togather, I will ask her to marry me on Christmas eve or New Years eve and we will live happily ever after:D

Impossible
Hi Geoffre,
Yes it is almost impossible to get a tourist visa for a Russian women.
This is a big scam run by Russian women. Please never send money to a women for a visa or airline tickets who you have not personal met.

Russian visa scam
Many times this subject of sending money or not is made in this forum and always many wise people say the same which is do not send money to unfamiliar women in foreign places. This is good common sense for all. Not complicated at all. If you disagree then you should take out the wallet and hand everything to stranger passing by on sidewalks. Here, take everything and get back to me, whatever...
People can be stupid this way always amazing to me. Sheep and wolves. Wolves always win. Be prepared and protect belongings before generosity comes to play.
